Tell us about yourself and how you got started as an agent?
I have been an agent for about 8 years now and have helped just around 80 people buy and sell homes in the Denver area. I was an elementary school teacher for 20+ years and I bring so much of that experience to the real estate process. I am an educator and advisor to my clients. It is my passion to help people navigate the real estate process with humor, education, advocacy and expertise. My goal is always to make the process as smooth and successful as possible.
What is your professional opinion on the Colorado Real Estate market right now?
I feel like the market is adjusting to be more balanced which is great news for buyers right now! Real estate is still the best investment you can make!
Any advice for buyers when it comes to the home inspection process?
Buyers should not be afraid of the inspection process. It is simply your chance to get to know your new home and to make a good purchasing decision.
What do you like most about your work?
I love it when a client walks into a home and I can see immediately that this is their new home! Getting to help people find their next home is rewarding! I also love it when my sellers walk away from their closing knowing that they can move on to their next adventure.
What advice would you give to a buyer in today’s market?
I think now is the time for buyers to buy! Just get yourself into the real estate market! It may not be your dream forever home, but it is good to start building equity now. Like the saying goes, the best time to plant a tree was ten years ago. The second best time to plant a tree is right now. The same can be said for buying real estate.
What hobbies do you have outside of your business?
My hobbies include children and animals! I have two teenaged children who keep me busy with their activites. I also volunteer as a kitten foster home to help socialize and care for kittens who need a little bit of help to get them to be adoptable.
